Party after the turkey

Live Celtic music and more at Dublin Crossing Irish Pub Thanksgiving weekend.

One of western Canada’s top Celtic musical acts is coming to the Dublin Crossing Irish Pub this Sunday.

Pat Chessell and friends perform a long weekend Sunday concert Oct. 7, from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Chessell was a featured act at the Irish Pavilion at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and enjoys a growing fanbase.

Earlier this year, Chessell released ‘Drunk in Exile,’ his debut single, co-written with Bruce Coughlan of Tiller’s Folly. The song has hit the airwaves in such diverse locales as Hawaii and Ireland, as well as making significant sales on iTunes.

He’s currently at work on a second album to be released in March 2013.
