Some Surrey/White Rock-based talent, including Lee Aaron and Trooper, will Rock Ambleside Park next summer, as the title of the event suggests.

Organizers of the music festival have announced the talent lineup, which also boasts Nazareth, Loverboy, Kim Mitchell, Little River Band, Doug & The Slugs, Toronto, Chilliwack, Rik Emmett and Sweet.

Full weekend packages and VIP tickets ($155.50/$449.50) went on sale today (Dec. 8) at amblesidelive.com and selectyourtickets.com, or call toll-free at 1-866-514-5050.

The festival is scheduled for Aug. 17-19 at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.

A detailed schedule, including set times and day of performances, will be released at a later date.

The picturesque Ambleside Park was also the site of last year’s inaugural classic rock festival, produced by GSL Group.

“In previous years it has also hosted concerts by Kenny Chesney, Ed Sheeran, Tegan & Sara and Lilith Fair,” say organizers of Rock Ambleside Park. “The festival grounds will once again offer food trucks, drinks, and VIP access. Patrons are permitted to bring in their own lawn chairs for the event and come and go to the beach with in-and-out privileges.”

The festival website is rockamblesidepark.com.
