Surrey Little Theatre has added two more shows in its current run of the comedy, Bermuda Triangle Avenue.

Advance ticket sales resulted in sold out dates during its initial run, which was supposed to go through February 16. The play is being held over for another weekend, with two evening shows added Feb. 22 and 23.

The play stars Kate Major, Dr. Laurie Kortschak, Terry Ford, Lisa Beaulieu, Peter Cowhig and Michael Powell, and is directed by Rita Price.

Bermuda Avenue Triangle, written by Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna, tells the story of two elderly widows – one Jewish, the other Italian Catholic – who are set up in an upscale Las Vegas retirement condo by their career-oriented daughters.

One weeps and the other complains. But all that changes when a charming scoundrel crosses their paths, transforming the grey old ladies into glam-rock golden girls.

The show runs Thursdays to Saturdays to Feb. 16 (showtimes at 8 p.m.), with a Sunday matinee Feb. 10. Performances on Feb. 22 and 23 also start at 8 p.m. Warning: some adult content and coarse language. Not suitable for children.

Tickets by calling 604-576-8451 or email reservations@surreylittletheatre.com. Or online at www.surreylittletheatre.com through Brown Paper Tickets.
