Get set for more free movie nights in Cloverdale and area, alternating between Don Christian Park and Katzie Elementary School for the rest of August.

Tonight, enjoy the Lion King (1994), Disney's animated musical about a young lion cast out of his pride, at Katzie Elementary, 6887 194A Street.

Next up in the city's free, family-friendly outdoor movies is the animated classic, Finding Nemo, Aug. 19 at Don Christian Park, 6220 184 Street.

It's back to Katie Elementary on Aug. 26 for Monsters Inc., a Pixar favourite starring the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman in this surprisingly poignant comedy about a city powered by the screams of children.

Bring a lawn chair, snack, and maybe a blanket. The films start at dusk, but there are activities starting at 6:30 p.m.
