The Arts Council of Surrey invites submissions to this year's Pacers juried arts competition and exhibition at Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino.
The subject is images of harness racing, with attention to the equipment used in the sport, the participants, the track and or other details.
The term Pacers refers to the horses – Standardbreds are pacers not trotters. The driver and horse wear the colours of the stable.
The entry deadline is Nov. 1. The competition and exhibition runs Nov. 9 to 17 at Fraser Downs in Cloverdale.
