California Surf, featuring former members of The Beach Boys, comes to Ocean Park Hall on Saturday, March 22.

It'll be a flashback to happier times when California Surf rolls in to Ocean Park Hall next month.

The band – which features former members of the Beach Boys band – will be playing for a night of surf-style "fun, fun, fun" Saturday, March 22 at the hall, located at 1577 128 St.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 19-plus event, and the music starts at 8 p.m. The evening, which also includes beer and wine sales, will include a meet and greet with California Surf band members.

Tickets ($60) are available at the door, but advance tickets can be purchased (on a first-come-first-served basis) at $50 each from Bill@BEC.live.

BEC managing partner Bill Brooks said buying an advance ticket is also a chance to win a 'Brunch with the Band' (for two), which takes place the same day as the show at The Boathouse on White Rock's Marine Drive.

Bandleader and drummer for the group is Bobby Figueroa, a full-time touring and recording musician with the Beach Boys from 1974 to 1989.

Lead vocalist Matt Jardine was also a touring and recording member of the Beach Boys in the '80s and '90s, while guitarist Randell Kirsch toured and recorded with the band intermittently between 1983 and 2015.

Keyboardist Debbie Shair toured with the Brian Wilson Band in 2016-2017 and has also been keyboardist and vocalist with Al Jardine's Endless Summer Band since 2020; bassist Teresa Cowles has also backed Wilson and Al Jardine and also played the role of legendary bassist Carol Kaye in the 2014 Brian Wilson biopic Love & Mercy
