Centre Stage at City Hall kicks off a new season with …didn’t see that coming, Beverley Elliott’s funny and moving collection of autobiographical stories and songs.

Elliott takes the audience on a comedic romp from small town Ontario to Vancouver’s gay bars and red carpets in this touchingly personal and satisfyingly irreverent exploration of humanity, directed by Jessie Award winner Kerry Sandomirsky.

Elliott has more than 100 film and TV credits, and is well-known around the world for her recurring role as “Granny” on ABC’s hit series, Once Upon a Time. Her extensive theatre credits include five successful tours with the internationally acclaimed Mom’s the Word. She has also toured as a musician and has released four CDs of original music.

… didn’t see that coming will be at Centre Stage (13450 104 Ave.) on Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $23-28, including all fees.

For advance tickets, call the box office at 604-501-5566 or visit tickets.surrey.ca. Tickets will also be available at the door.
