Tribute rededicated

On May 21, the Surrey RCMP rededicated the Cst. Roger Pierlet overhead – named for the man shot and killed on duty on Cloverdale’s 176 Street south of Highway 10 in 1974. Asst/Commr. Fraser MacRae, left, Roger’s brother Luke Pierlet, and Mayor Dianne Watts joined 20 officers in red serge, family members and veterans at the ceremony.
