The Silvertone Singers, a seniors community choir group, is looking for new members.
The group, which meets at 1 p.m. Thursdays at the Cloverdale Recreation Centre, sings a wide selection of musical styles, and entertains at local seniors homes and assisted living facilities.
No audition is necessary. Everyone is welcome.
The Silvertone Singers’ recent membership call-out included a tantalizing tidbit for the sleep-deprived among us: “Recent research indicates that singing can reduce snoring,” it read. Who knew?
