The jolly old elf visited with kids on Saturday morning at the Langley Golf Centre in an event organized by the Langley Child Development Centre.
It was the biggest year yet for the annual event, said Cara Boecker, the supervisor of the group’s infant development program, and the key organizer of the breakfast with Santa.
“This is the first year all three seatings have sold out,” said Boecker.
Santa arrived to meet and give high-fives to kids at their tables, before settling down for photos with the tykes. An elf roamed the event offering “elfie selfies” as well.
Aside from St. Nick, the chance for kids to pick presents for their parents was set up.
“The big draw for the families is our little gift shop,” said Boecker.
Children can pick out gifts for mom or dad from a kind of small bazaar.
The event is for the clients of Langley Child Development Centre, which is now part of the Langley Association for Community Living.
