Shepherd House holds soup kitchens every week, but on Thursday, Aug. 2, they held their first-ever outdoor feast and BBQ, complete with Korean delicacies, rice and vegetables, and a couple tubs of orange juice.
Currently, Shepherd House doesn't have a concrete home, so they use the space at Cloverdale's Pacific Community Church. Their lunches are served by volunteers from Presbyterian churches all over Cloverdale and the area, and their "Friends Outside" are their members and regulars who Shepherd House are trying to help get back on their feet.
The lunches are led by reverend Clara Soohyun Choi and her husband, pastor D.J. Kim.
