With Christmas nearly here, local homes are all dressed up for the holidays.

• Wish Upon a Star (formerly of 19368 62A Ave.), has moved just across the Surrey-Langley border to 20681 44 Avenue and runs nightly from 5 p.m. to midnight until Dec. 31.
It features a Christmas light display with 44,000-plus lights, many animated characters and Santa and his sleigh flying overhead. Say hell' to Mr Christmas, an interactive musical snowman, take a picture with Rudolp , Bumble and the misfit toys, sip on hot chocolate (by donation) and enjoy the twinkling magic. • The annual Bonneteau Winter Wonderland Christmas display is at 16951 Jersey Dr. in Cloverdale. There are dancing lights, two larger-than-life Nutcrackers, a large nativity scene and lights that are synchronized to music. Lights will be on from approximately 5:30-10:30 p.m. until Jan. 7. The property has thousands of lights and a homemade wood nativity display and all kinds of illuminated figurines. All monies raised will go to Variety - The Children's Charity.
• The Wagner family will be lighting things up at 19056 63B Ave. until Jan. 1. Things will be bigger and better this year, with outdoor speakers for a light show set to music, which runs every hour for 30 minutes from 6-10 p.m. The family is raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life event. The money is raised in honour of Karen Wagner's father, who died of cancer many years ago. The family also lost a friend named Eleanor to the disease.
• Thousands of bulbs and dozens of ornaments are a part of the annual display at the Kinna family home in Cloverdale at 16956 60A Ave. From reindeer on the rooftop, to penguins wearing bow ties, they’ve pretty much got it all. Again this year, the family is collecting donations for incubators for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Sunday to Thursday from 5-10 p.m. and extended hours until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday until January.
• Art and Lou's Christmas Lights, featuring the North Pole and a nativity scene, every night from Dec. 1 to Jan. 1 from 6-10 p.m. at 15097 90A Ave. Walk through or drive past to enjoy the sights. There are more than 10,000 lights as well as the North Pole and nativity scene. On Dec. 17 from 6-9 p.m., Santa and Frosty will be on site to visit with candy canes for the kids and coffee, hot chocolate for the grown-ups.
• A home at 6598 192A St. in Cloverdale's Clayton community is a popular attraction.
• A house at 18279 Claytonwood Crescent boasts a Christmas display featuring thousands of lights. On between 5 and 9:30 p.m. nightly.
• A home at 7311 194 St. is a treasure that used to be located in North Vancouver. This year the big man himself will be out front to greet families on select nights.
• The Kelly family is shining bright for another year, at 15349 85A Ave. Their spirit has now extended to their neighbour's homes, where you can see more than 40,000 lights and two yard fulls of decorations.
• An epic Christmas lights display continues at 8421 Spenser Place, with overflow decorations on multiple other houses in the cul-de-sac.
• The City of Surrey's 17-metre-tall Christmas tree is lit up at City Hall Plaza throughout the holiday season.
