Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary Interconnect Club vice president Jaideen Rawlings and president Alisha Walia (centre) present $750 to representatives of Coast Cottage Mental Health.
It’s just one of the donations the club made this June to non-profit organizations working to make a difference.
Club members raised the money over the school year through ice cream and hot chocolate sales and activities such as decorating student lockers at Christmastime for a small fee, plus bubble tea and doughnut fundraisers, donating $750 to White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society and $1,000 to Doctors Without Borders.
