There was food, fun, and some great info for residents and businesses alike at today's Surrey RCMP open house in Cloverdale.

The event featured a performance by the Surrey Square Wheelers, along with a visit by an RCMP dog and handler, and various activities for kids and information booths.

Members of the Cloverdale Sikh Society were among the community representatives on hand. They were serving up hot pakoras and chai tea.

The open house in District 4 (Port Kells/Cloverdale) is one of five open houses taking place at district offices today in celebration of Police Week.http://webpapersadmin.bcnewsgroup.com/portals/uploads/cloverdale/.DIR288/wPakoras.jpg
