Dial into free workshop on dementia

Here's how to take part in a free, one-hour workshop on 'Understanding Dementia' presented by the Alzheimer Society of B.C.

Cloverdale residents who want to learn more about dementia are invited to dial into a free teleworkshop later this month.

The Alzhiemer Society of B.C. is offering ‘Understanding Dementia,’ a one-hour session by telephone on Jan. 31.

The session starts at 7 p.m. and provides an overview of the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. It will focus on symptoms and the stages of this progressive disease.

To participate, simply access the workshop by phone. There are optional slides that may be viewed online.
