The Cloverdale Terry Fox Run set for Sunday at the Cloverdale Legion is more than just a run – it’s got it all: refreshments, fun, music and even a silent auction.

The annual event is in support of the Terry Fox Foundation. There’s no registration fee and no minimum pledge to enter. This year’s run starts off with coffee and breakfast snacks, and will feature plenty to appeal for the whole family.

There will be a selfie station and T-shirts for sale, plus a clown and face painting for the kids.

The silent auction will feature “amazing” items for bid, organizers say.

The event starts at 9 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Cloverdale Legion, 17567 57 Avenue, Surrey. All ages welcome. The run starts at 10 a.m., at the Legion parking lot. Run, walk, blade or bike, and celebrate Terry’s legacy, while helping to keep alive his dream of finding a cure for cancer.

Roll, or stroll 1, 5, or 10 km routes. Dogs on leash welcome.

Join Canadians in 9,000 communities in taking part in the event.
