Canada's shorelines need your help

The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, presented by Loblaw Companies Limited, is the perfect opportunity for you to help clean Canada’s waterways and shorelines, ensuring they’re health for the wildlife and communities that depend on them. This national conservation initiative of the Vancouver Aquarium and WWF removed 143,737 kg of litter from our shorelines in 2011. If left on our shorelines, this litter would have had a serious impact on the health of our oceans, lakes and rivers – and ultimately our communities. Make a difference in your community from September 15-23, 2012 by joining Canadians coast to coast to coast in cleaning up litter on your local shoreline. Register today at ShorelineCleanup.ca or call 1-877-427-2422.
