Audition call

Surrey Little Theatre is holding auditions for their winter comedy, Funny Little Thing Called Love, on Monday, Oct. 26 and Tuesday Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. (7027 - 184 Street). Why not join the South Surrey Garden Club? Visitors welcome: the $3 drop in fee is credited towards an annual membership of $20. Our next meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 28. Rebecca Van der Zalm will speak about small conifers. The club meets every fourth Wednesday of the month, except August and December, at St. Mark's Anglican Church at 12953 20 Ave. We have a very active and full program with great speakers, field trips and workshops. 'Dinner With Friends'

Langley Players presents Dinner With Friends, the 2000 Pulitzer Prize-winning story by Donald Margulies about what happens to two couples when one marriage falls apart. Surrey Little Theatre presents Calendar Girls by Tim Firth, Oct. 22 to

The Ladies Auxiliary to Branch 6, Cloverdale Legion, is holding their annual Christmas Bazaar & Craft Sale, Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a silent auction, home baked goods and vendors will have a variety of handmade crafts and other items for sale. $7.00 will buy you lunch & a chance at a door prize. FAMILY HISTORY SHOW & TELL

Join us for the 7th annual Show and Tell at the Cloverdale Library (5642 176A St.) on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We continue the tradition by inviting people who document their family history to bring in their creations such as family quilts, scrapbooks, storyboards and family history artifacts. Describe your project or just showcase your items on a table. The event is 19+. The Surrey Heritage Society is looking for volunteers to help out with the new BC Vintage Truck Museum (6022 176 Street) located on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. The museum is open to the general public on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. every week through the year. We will teach you about the history of trucking in B.C. and about the trucks on display in the collection.
