Cloverdale Market Days

The Cloverdale Arts and Entertainment Association presents Cloverdale Market Days, Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 176 Street between 56A Ave. and 58 Ave. Over 80 vendors, sidewalk sales, food trucks, performers, bouncy castles, mini golf and more.

Teens - unleash your imagination

This summer, be creative, have some fun and win cash prizes. Enter a short story, poem, or comic in Surrey Libraries’ Young Adult Writing Contest. Cash prizes will be awarded per category and age group. The contest is open to ages 12 to 18 years. Entries must be in by 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2. It’s free to enter. Entry rules and forms are available at www.surreylibraries.ca/teens.

 

Cloverdale Lions Club

The Cloverdale Lions Club is recruiting new members. We’re made up of volunteers like you and are part of the world's largest service organization, helping the less fortunate and serving our community through pancake breakfasts and more. We have sponsored three senior citizens residences and our other projects include: Timmy’s Telethon, the Diabetes Foundation, the Lion’s Society, Cloverdale Community Police, girls’ soccer, Cloverdale Minor Baseball, Easter Seals, sledge hockey and two Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary bursaries. Interested in gardening? Why not join the South Surrey Garden Club? The Cloverdale Carvers Club is a small group of male and female woodcarvers from all walks of life. From beginners to advanced.
