Harness Racing BC Open House

Join the Teen Library Council
As a member of the Teen Library Council (TLC), you will participate in library events, provide feedback on library services and programs for teens, and reach out to the larger teen community as Library ambassadors. Members earn service hours for their hard work in TLC.

Critter Care Walk-a-Thon
Our 6th annual walk a thon begins at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 5, at Campbell Valley Regional Park, Langley (south entrance). People should come earlier to register and bring in pledges.We are asking people to pre-register, if possible, before Sept. 25. for a fee of $10. After the Sept. 25 the walk-in fee will be $15. The walk consists of two easy routes, one at 4km and one at 2km. We are also encouraging folks to bring their dogs on the walk. Included in the fee is a BBQ lunch. Surrey crime Prevention Society is looking for volunteers to support the Speed Watch Program. Volunteers work with a team, tracking vehicles driving at excessive speeds in playgrounds, school zones and high-risk crash sites, and gain valuable experience.
