The Sam Roberts Band will headline the music at Surrey’s Canada Day celebration on Sunday.

Be part of Canada’s 145th birthday at Surrey Canada Day this Sunday.

This year’s celebration at the Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre (64 Avenue and 176 Street) features world-class entertainment, food, games, amusement rides and a spectacular fireworks finale.

The stellar line-up at the Chevron main stage will feature Canadian rock icon the Sam Roberts Band (8:45 p.m.) and Vancouver rising star Hannah Georgas (7:30 p.m.)

Catch a glimpse of the Global FMX freestyle motocross team, which will launch over an 80-foot gap at heights of more than 30 feet.

In addition, Shooting Star Amusements will have a full range of family-oriented fun for the younger crowd, including amusements, interactive games and bouncy castles.

The event is free to the public.

Gates open at 10 a.m., with the fireworks show slated for 10:15 p.m.
