Danae Hutchison, 9, (above) got a boost on the EnviroBungee at Surrey's Party for the Planet on Saturday at Surrey City Hall.

The event, touted as B.C.'s largest Earth Day celebration, included live music, entertainment, food and interactive environment-themed crafts and displays.

Among the participants (below) were Vancouver entertainer Peter G-G (Peter Graham-Gaudreau), a barred owl from Raptors Ridge Birds of Prey (an education centre located in Maple Ridge), and Angelina Strevette, 4, who was shadowed by a racoon while doing crafts in the Surrey Nature Centre tent.
