Second annual awards luncheon takes place next month

The top picks for this year’s Women in Business have been announced, and the finalists will be chosen next month.

The Surrey Board of Trade’s Second Annual Surrey Women in Business Awards Luncheon recognizes the hard work of Surrey’s businesswomen and their contributions to Surrey. 

Our keynote speaker is Launi Skinner, President and CEO of First West Credit Union and former President of Starbucks and 1-800-GOT-JUNK.  Steve Darling of Global TV, will guide us through the event as Master of Ceremonies.

Nominations were submitted in five categories and judged on the nominee’s work in Surrey, business acumen, leadership, balanced lifestyle and community involvement and service.
