The Cloverdale Reporter has won silver for best collaborative ad design at the annual "Ma Murray" community newspaper awards.
An ad created for a local merchant by designer Marla Poirier and advertising representative Cynthia Dunsmore placed second in the circulation 25,000 and under category.
The awards were presented by the B.C. and Yukon Community Newspaper Awards, held April 26.
The province-wide competition recognizes the best in production, publishing, reporting, editing, advertising, photography, website design and community contribution.
The same pair won bronze in the same category at the 2013 awards, presented by the B.C. Community Newspaper Association.
