PICS launches youth business program

A host of services available to young entrepreneurs.

Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Society has recently launched a PICS Youth Business Development Program.

As a part of this initiative, and as a Community Partner of the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), PICS will support potential young entrepreneurs in the Lower Mainland.

If you are a young entrepreneur between the ages of 18 – 34 and are ready to start your own business, PICS can help. We can assist you bring a business idea to life from pre-launch to growth and expansion. PICS and CYBF will support young entrepreneurs during the launch of their businesses by providing pre and post-launch coaching, financing, mentoring and business resources.

Youth entrepreneurs could benefit from our Start-Up Program to obtain a loan of up to $45,000, or the Newcomer Program with a loan of up to $15,000 in order to launch their businesses.

After running a successful business for between 3 to 5 years, young entrepreneurs may be eligible for the Expansion Program which provides financing of up to $ 30,000 so as to be able to expand their business.
