Local Christmas market returns

Christmas in Cloverdale is a locally-organized craft and gift sale with over 100 vendors.

It’s time for one of the biggest, locally-organized annual Christmas markets around.

Christmas In Cloverdale takes over Shannon Hall and the Alice McKay Building at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds, 6050A 176 Street, this Friday evening and all day Saturday.

With more than 100 vendor tables, there’s something for everyone, from gourmet food items and baking to cosmetics, natural bath and body products, stained glass, handcrafts gifts and toys. Children and adults will enjoy visiting with Santa, magic and balloon animals. There will be a craft table for kids hosted by Imagine Itz Magic.

Admission is free. Canned goods will be collected to help support the Surrey Food Bank. The Christmas in Cloverdale Gift and Craft Marketplace is open from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 and again from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. For more information, visit www.christmasincloverdale.com.
