The best in police and community safety services will be honoured at the Surrey Board of Trade this fall.
The finalists for the 17th Annual Police Officer of the Year Awards have been released and include several people in eight different categories.
This fall, the Surrey RCMP along with Surrey’s Auxiliary officers, civilian employees and volunteers will join members of Surrey’s business community to celebrate those individuals who have been chosen by their peers and the public to receive the Police Officer of the Year Awards.
Winners in eight categories will be announced at the gala event on Oct. 17 at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel (15269 104 Ave.) from 6-9:30 p.m.
