If you live or work in downtown Cloverdale, don’t be surprised if you hear the unseasonable sounds of sleigh bells ringing this week.

A crew will be filming scenes from an upcoming Hallmark Holiday production for several days.

TV movie The Christmas Makeover will be shooting on 176 Street at 57 Avenue, Wednesday to Friday.

This is the second Hallmark Holiday TV special that’s brought the Yuletide spirit to the historic town centre this spring. Last month, A Wish For Christmas spent two days here filming scenes in the 5700-block of 176 Street, where Christmas decorations and fake snow festooned the sidewalk outside the Cloverdale BIA and Chamber of Commerce offices and Hawthorne Square.

The Christmas Makeover features Full House star Lori Loughlin and Cedar Cove's Colin Ferguson. Loughlin plays a TV personality who admits she hates Christmas and is invited to the world's most Christmasy town.
