Business Excellence Awards open for nominations

South Surrey and White Rock businesses encouraged to apply

The South Surrey and White Rock Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for its annual Business Excellence Awards.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event, nominations are open to not only chamber members, but to all businesses operating in the area.

There competition features 11 categories.

“Think of your favourite restaurant, shop, dentist, florist, service organization, etc,” said chamber executive director Ritu Khanna. “Being out in the community and speaking to business owners of various sizes, I have been really inspired and touched by the stories of hard work and commitment. No one really knows their story, except them.”

Deadline for nominations if Dec. 7. The award gala is to be held Feb. 20.
