Team Tardi will be competing at the 2014 Tim Hortons B.C. Junior Curling Championships later this month in Chilliwack.

Team Tardi qualified in the B round at the Coastal Playdowns at the Coquitlam Curling Centre over the weekend.

Although Team Tardi plays out of the Langley Curling Club, the team is skipped by Cloverdale's Tyler Tardi, and includes his brother Jordan, who plays third. The Tardis attend Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School. Second Nicholas Meister is from Langley and Coquitlam's Zachary Umbach plays lead.

They join 11 other teams at the upcoming juniors Dec. 26 to 31.

The Junior Men's and the Junior Women's finals will be televised on Sportsnet on Dec. 31. Visit www.curlbc.ca/communications/tv-schedules for more details.

The results of Curl BC playdowns can be viewed on http://www.playdowns.com/ under the British Columbia (Curl BC) tab.

Admission to the championships is free. For information about the Chilliwack Curling Club, visit http://curlchilliwack.org/.
