Reminiscent of one year ago, the George Heagy team of Chilliwack played Ernie Wah’s foursome from Langley in the championship game of the Senior Men’s Bonspiel at Cloverdale Curling Club on Jan. 9.

This year the result was reversed and the Heagy team edged out Wah to emerge victorious in this annual three-day-event.

It was an excellent final game in a bonspiel that included teams from the North Shore, Richmond, Tunnel Town, Coquitlam, Langley, Peace Arch and Clovedale Curling Clubs.

Much fun was had by all. The winning team (pictured at right, L-R) is Bob Pisatcky, Wayne McAlpine, Larry Keller and George Heagy.
