Cloverdale skates home with metal memories
The Cloverdale Skating Club had a great weekend at the annual Jingle Blades Competition in White Rock.
Allison Scanks skated to gold and teammate Ashleigh Patterson earned silver in the pre-introductory interpretive event.
Other skaters from Cloverdale also fared well at the Nov. 23-25 event. Kaitlin Chamberlain placed 9th in the Star 4 category. Melissa Schreiber came 5th in Introductory Interpretive and was 10th in Sr. Bronze Ladies.
McKenna Nickel took a silver medal in Silver Interpretive and earned a bronze medal in Jr. Silver Ladies and Melissa Hayne took 4th in Jr. Sliver Ladies.
Other club members participating in the star categories were: Izabella Bryant, Madison Botthwick, Kennedy Hoven, Josh Hoven, Beatrix Clingan and Rhea Deol.
