Two top drivers at Fraser Downs Racetrack are within striking distance of career records.

Thanks to a first-place finish last weekend at the Cloverdale racetrack, Brad Watt is just one win away from his 500th win.

And two second and two third-place showings last weekend mean veteran driver and trainer Dave Hudon remains two races away from his 2,000th winning race.

As of Wednesday, both drivers were slated for eight races in Friday night's race card. There will be live racing Sept. 28 and 29, starting at 7 p.m. both nights.
