Cloverdale lacrosse players lauded

The Burnaby Mountain Selects lacrosse program have recognized four young players from Cloverdale for their academic – and on-field – excellence.

Taylor Dudlets, Ty Ewen, Logan Bebb, and Taylor Mori are recipients of the 2011-2012 scholar athlete awards.

Established in 2010, the awards are given to participants in the BMS elite summer touring program who also achieved an academic average of 80 per cent or higher during the 2011-2012 school year.

The student-athletes will receive an award certificate this coming January at the next Maple Leaf Awards Dinner, an event celebrating youth and collegiate field lacrosse in B.C.
