Cloverdale loses to Burnaby
It was so close.
The Cloverdale Colts narrowly lost last night's final against Burnaby at the B.C. Bantam Tier 1 hockey championships.
The Burnaby Winter Club Bruins won 6-5, coming back from previous losses against the Colts, including a preliminary game at the tournament.
The Colts won five games at the six-team tournament in Kamloops.
They beat the Bruins 5-3 the day before the final, and defeated Prince George 7-1 on their way to Thursday's championship game.
The BWC are the 2012 BC Hockey Bantam Tier 1 Champions, and will proceed to the Western Bantam championship.
