Silver for Cloverdale skater
Seven members of the Cloverdale Skating Club competed in Penticton this past weekend at the annual Ogopogo Skating competition.
McKenna Nickel of Walnut Grove came away with the silver medal in the Senior Bronze Ladies Event.
Also competing:
Madison Borthwick, who placed 7th in pre-preliminary ladies; Kaitlin Chamberlain, who placed 7th in preliminary ladies; Emily Bickel in preliminary ladies; Melissa Schreiber, who placed 8th in senior bronze ladies, and McKenna Nickel who came in 6th in bronze interpretive.
