Big football games Sunday

The Cloverdale Bengals host the Victoria Spartans Sunday in a semi-final contest at 1 p.m. at Cloverdale Athletic Park.

The BC. Minor Football league team managed a 24-21 victory over the Nanaimo Redmen last weekend, pushing them onto the next stage.

Another local football team has a big game coming up Sunday.

The Cloverdale Lions head to the Vancouver Mainland Football League championship game Nov. 28 at Minoru Park in Richmond.

The Lions will play in the Atom Division final against the Westside Warriors at 10 a.m.
