Re: "What's the policy?", letters, Nov. 3.

In regards to the letter that suggests that the City Centre Library has a special prayer room dedicated to the Muslim community, I would like to correct any misunderstanding.

The room is a meditation room and is used for a number of purpose. It can be used for quiet contemplation and prayer, but also for taking a personal cell phone calls or be used by a parent wanting to calm an upset child.

The meditation room is open to everyone and is not restricted to any one particular use or religion.
