Three charged following South Surrey mail theft

Three men are facing charges in connection with the alleged theft of mail from the Morgan Creek area.

According to Surrey RCMP, police were alerted to suspicious activity at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers located a parked minivan near Rosemary Heights Crescent and Rosemary Heights Drive. Inside, “a large amount of stolen mail” was found.

Three men were arrested without incident.

Surrey residents Craig Davies, 35, Jordan Wardstrom, 22, and Jamie Timbs, 41, have been charged with one count of mail theft.

Wardstrom is also charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000.

All three remain in custody.
