Second Surrey trustee candidate meeting planned

Voters have another chance to hear from Surrey's school trustee candidates.

There is another chance to meet and question Surrey's school trustee candidates in the upcoming civic election.

The Lord Tweedsmuir Parent Advisory Council has organized a school trustee candidates meeting in Cloverdale. It will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Clayton Heights Secondary, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Surrey voters go to the polls Saturday, Nov. 19, when they will elect six school trustees (there are 15 candidates), along with mayor and city council.

The following candidates are seeking election for office of school trustee: Terry Allen (SFE)*, Ijaz Ahmed Chatha (SCC)*, Moh Chelali (SCC), Sukhy Dhillon (SCC), Charlene Dobie (SCC), Pam Glass (SFE)*, Laurence Greeff (SCC), Paul Hillsdon, Malkiat Singh Kang, Laurie Larsen (SFE)*, Reni Masi (SFE)*, Ram Sidhu (SCC), Anne Van Rhyn, Shawn Wilson (SFE)*.

The first school trustee candidates meeting on Oct. 26 was hosted by the District Parent Advisory Council.
