Witnesses of serious injury collision in Cloverdale asked to come forward
Police are asking anyone who witnessed last Saturday's collision between a white pickup and a small car in Cloverdale to come forward to help the investigation.
Just after noon on Sept. 7, a blue Plymouth Neon was turning left on Highway 10 onto 177B Street, when an eastbound white GMC Sierra with Alberta plates hit the Neon on the passenger side.
The two drivers escaped without serious injuries, but the 46-year-old female passenger of the car was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As of Tuesday, she was in critical but stable condition.
Surrey RCMP Cpl. Bert Paquet says police want to speak with any witnesses who may have observed what happened but have not yet come forward, particularly if they witnessed how the GMC Sierra was being driven prior to the collision.
Alcohol is not being considered a factor in the accident, which is under investigation by the Surrey RCMP's Criminal Collision Investigation Team.
Witnesses are asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and ask to speak with Cst. Mike Halskov.
