Surrey Civic Coalition hosts transit forum
The Surrey Civic Coalition is hosting a forum on transit next Tuesday at Surrey Centre Library.
Panelists at Transit Matters June 26 include B.C. NDP transportation critic Harry Bains (Surrey-Newton), Steve Burke from the Surrey Citizens Transportation Initiative, and Gavin Davies and Balbir Mann of the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW).
They’ll be taking questions and offering recommendations.
The event will be moderated by Gary T. Robinson, president of the SCC, which fielded a full slate of candidates in the past Surrey civic elections.
The forum runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Surrey Centre Library, 10350 University Drive, in room 418.
