Surrey Little Theatre is seeking some suspects – some unusual ones, in fact.

The theatre's youth troupe is casting for its summer production of The Unusual Suspects, by Samara Siskind.

Directed by Loryn LeGear, the SLT youth production requires 14 actors and required to fill 28 parts.

All roles are for those 12 to 18 years old, with the exception of the character of Mr. Piddles, the high school principal.

The Unusual Suspects, an action-packed comedy, brings together four high school students with little in common but an utter animosity towards their angry principal – a man who has haunted their high school years.

The production will take place July 13-23.

Auditions will be held May 15 and 16 at 6 p.m. at Surrey Little Theatre, 7027 184 St. A youth crew is also needed to volunteer backstage.
