'Off the Wall' contest winners announced
Two Cloverdale residents have won tickets to see Friday’s live show at the Clova Cinema, Off the Wall in China – an evening of absurd travel tales by adventurer William Jans – courtesy of the Cloverdale Reporter and Jans himself.
Marilyn and Irv Dusik entered an online contest at Jans’ website, www.wrjphoto.com, after following a link from our story posted at www.cloverdalereporter.com (“Globetrotting Lensman Meets His Fans Half Way,”).
There’s still time to purchase tickets for the all-ages Jan. 8 show, his first in the Fraser Valley. His live, multimedia extravaganzas are frequently sell-outs, and he was determined to provide a venue that was closer to loyal fans who have been driving into Vancouver to see him.
This is Jans’ sixth show, and it features sleeping on the Great Wall, the Crucifixion festival in the Philippines, a thrilling hike and a climb to the perfect volcano. Tickets are still available from the Clova Cinema box office and online at www.wrjphoto.com/tickets.
