Art keeps the pace

And the winners are... original artworks by Surrey artists depicting "pacers", the plucky Standardbred horses which thrill harness racing fans each weekend at Fraser Downs Raceway and Casino.

Cloverdale's historic raceway hosted the Arts Council of Surrey's 2012 Pacer Competition, an annual art competition.

The awards were held Nov. 11, and the exhibit ran Nov. 9-19 at Fraser Downs.
