'Christmas Treasures' at art and craft fair

It's a chance to stock up on some beautiful, one-of-a-kind items handcrafted by Surrey artists, artisans and crafters, as the holiday season gets underway.

Next weekend marks the Christmas Treasures Artisan and Craft Fair, presented by the Arts Council of Surrey at Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino, at 17755 60 Avenue in Cloverdale.

The show has quilts, baby clothes, jewellery, pottery, wooden candle holders and blown-glass beads.

The exhibition and sale runs from 4-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 17 and 18.
