Emily Williams, a promising young singer from Cloverdale, is hoping to win a spot opening for Tyler Ward at his upcoming Vancouver concert.

Ward is one of the most popular YouTube artists of all time, with more than 950,000 subscribers and 290 million views.

He’s looking for talented musicians to open up for him on his upcoming North American tour. Ward takes the stage in Vancouver on Nov. 8.

Contestants upload their videos for a series of voting rounds. The winner will perform a 15-to 20-minute live set as an opening act.

Williams has uploaded a video of herself singing Demi Lovato’s Give Your Heart A Break.

She's currently in the top eight and finds out Friday if she's made the top four.

Supporters can vote for Williams at http://www.topblip.com/contest/bracket/150/4692.
