Surrey’s historic Stewart Farm is offering a sustainable gardening workshop this weekend.

Learn how to garden in harmony with nature. Find out about creating healthy soil, composting, and labour-saving techniques to reduce watering and weeding.

It’s on Saturday, March 28, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. It’s for ages 16 years and up. The workshop cost is $15.

Historic Stewart Farm is a restored 1894 farmhouse, pole barn and heritage gardens located at 13723 Crescent Road in South Surrey. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, and from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Entrance by donation.
