Parent Support Group for Gifted/talented
This parent support group provides an opportunity for parents of gifted children to learn more about giftedness, discuss challenges and share strategies for supporting gifted children. Some children are unusually intense and sensitive. They are rapid, curious, learners but may be bored, disruptive or underachieve. Their development, intellectual and emotional is uneven. They set very high expectations resulting in failure or upset. Sometimes they have a learning disability in addition to being gifted.
