Mission accomplished
About 10 parents helped deliver Christmas hampers to 12 needy families in the Surrey area on Dec. 20 from the students, families and staff at Martha Currie Elementary in Cloverdale.
In doing so, the school community hoped to make the holiday season a happier, less stressful time for the recipients, said Rhonda MacKay, who added the school is known for its generous hampers but thought this year Martha Currie really outdid itself.
